Hello! I'm Rex Vandermeer, owner and founder of POWER PROGRAMS. My wife and I live in Spring, Texas; near Houston. We have three grown children and three grandchildren. I began my career in a parts department at a full service dealership in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1974. I served as Parts Manager for 15 years. I started computer programming as a sideline fascination and it wasn't long before I began to tweak our ADP computer at the dealership. I had soon developed a program to enhance SOR, which evolved into KSOR, then later wrote the first version of Review Stock Order. I quickly realized that there was a need for the work I was doing at countless other dealerships, and the concept for POWER PROGRAMS was born!
For the past 12 years, POWER PROGRAMS has performed custom programming for dealerships all over the US and Canada. Our expertise in streamlining processes in parts departments has expanded to include writing programs for entire dealerships. Custom programming is where it began, and we've grown. We are experts in providing services of data extraction, reporting, archiving and sending. Our programming can set up a job that extracts specific data each night and sends it to a vendor via ftp or email or archives a report automatically, while you're busy with the important things in life, like enjoying dinner with your family!
