DELM - Delivery Manifest

Overview

At the Function Code prompt, enter DELM.
Highlight SETUP, and press ENTER.
This program has a lot of toys and features.  I suggest you keep it very simple at first.

It is very important to close manifests.  If you choose Y to close manifests when printed, then obviously they are closed, but you have no time tracking features.

DELM has several time tracking features.  The simplest works like this:  Choose N to close manifests when printed.  As deliveries are made, mark them delivered.  Marking one invoice for a customer delivered, marks all invoices on that manifest for that customer delivered (more on how to mark a delivery in a moment).  When all invoices on a manifest are delivered, the manifest closes.

Highlight NEW MANIFEST and press ENTER.
Press F5 to add a new route.  Once you add routes, they will show up in this screen for selection.
Press F5 to add a new driver.  Once you add drivers, they will show up in this screen for selection.
Truck #s and Radio #s (next prompt) are optional.  Just press ENTER to bypass.
Press F5 to add invoices.

If you said Yes to the setup "Select invoices from list to add to manifest"

F5 will bring up a list of available invoices.
Use SF5 to manually enter invoices one at a time.

Here's how to look up a manifest to mark if delivered, or to view it for any other reason.

Highlight SEARCH, and press ENTER.

Sometimes the simplest thing to do is to not enter any criteria, and just press F3 (to bring up all of today's manifests).
Highlight the one you need and press ENTER.
Highlight one of the invoices for the customer being delivered, and press F8 to mark it delivered.
